Art, for me, is an exciting and unpredictable action. Art is painfully similar to life itself with its unfathomable attractiveness and constantly elusive meaning.
Biography
VICTO is an artist working in the realm of ethics and aesthetics, challenging the perception of everyday objects by striving to reveal beauty in all things. Inspired by David Hume's philosophy that beauty is a product of human consciousness, she believes it is crucial to break free from imposed models of perception and experience life in its entirety. Her art is rooted in minimalism and critical posthumanism, focusing on the significance of even the smallest details in the world.
Since 2021, VICTO has been actively participating in exhibitions and art fairs. In 2022, she took part in Miami Art Week and plans to do so again in 2024. In 2024, VICTO was involved in a three-week museum project titled Woman; Balancing Our World at the MoRA Museum in New Jersey, USA.
Having lived in many places, VICTO's travels have greatly influenced her work. She holds a deep affection for London and the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland. Currently residing in New York, she has also opened her own art gallery, with ambitions to participate in renowned fairs such as the Armory Show, NADA, and Untitled in 2025.
