Looki

Looki was born in Poitiers. He grew up in Paris in the 17th in an artistic environment of working-class and artist parents.

He does not notice from a very young age that creation is part of his DNA. Passionate about sport, nature and technology, he moved very early into heavy industry. Within his profession, he learned about the different techniques of welding, gluing, assembling wood, steel and all metals.

For his 18th birthday, he got his first welding machine which allowed him to embark on an artistic vision of objects and materials. The years pass and his technique improves. He then experiments with all kinds of techniques and artistic trends for himself.

He balances between his profession and his passion. During a professional turning point, he decided to reorient himself towards art and devote himself to creation. His philosophy of life is reflected in the works: live in complete spontaneity, without experimentation, live by instinct, live strong. His work is complete, rough. He mixes raw materials and natural elements. It deals with varied subjects such as love, the origin of life, freedom, death, mysticism and nature. He has been making his dream come true since 2017 by participating in art competitions which allow him to progress and diversify his world.

He has since exhibited in several art galleries and various exhibitions such as the Carrousel du Louvre and the Contemporary French Artists Salon at the Grand Palais in Paris.

Trade shows and exhibitions have awarded him first prize and public favorite prizes for the quality of his work.

Looki is constantly looking for creative and technical challenges.
