GuVe

Gesture is the dominant visual element. Its expression enhances each by the quality of its fluidity.

In my approach to painting, I give free rein to the unforeseen rendering of the material and the randomness of my gesture. My abstract creations are totally totally free, free to move. At the start of a work, there are no no preconceived ideas, just this privileged moment of gesture... Speed and improvisation and improvisation are what make these sinuous, curving forms to calligraphy.

The amplitude of my gestures offers a dimension and depth evocative of balance and harmony.
