Frédéric Khodja

Born in 1964 in Toulouse, Frédéric Khodja lives and works in Lyon.

His activity as a plastic artist is marked by the preponderance of drawing and a constant relationship to paper (prints, photographs, books). The drawing is a stratification of layers of memory, iconographic sources, and works already produced, each drawing being an offshoot of the rhizomic work.

Among other things, he benefited from personal exhibitions at the Musée d'art moderne de Collioure in 2000, at the Galerie d'O in Montpellier in 2003, and at the Musée de casts de Lyon in 2007. A set of large-format drawings was produced. shown during the collective exhibition Irréel de la représentation au rêve at the Paul Dini Museum in Villefranche-sur-Saône in spring 2008.

In the field of publishing, he produced the drawings for a story by Marie-Laure Hurault (Brumes, 2007) published by La Rue de Russie editions and gives drawings for magazines (Los Flamencos no comment, Hippocampe, Sigila , the magazine of belles-lettres).
