Aurélie Sarramon

Very early on interested in images, Aurélie SARRAMON started out as assistant on film sets, participating in the making of several short films. It was subsequently that she followed a training course at the International School of Audiovisual Creation. Today she is a professional photographer and works in particular with publishing houses for the production of covers.

Aurélie SARRAMON's work is visibly marked by the influence of surrealist photography. The image surprises with the incongruous juxtaposition of two realities. The viewer is unsettled by the superposition of two contradictory images, but at the same time the artist appeals to the imagination, to the imagination. In fact, Aurélie SARRAMON's photography carries with it a part of narration that evokes a child's dream.

The artist likes to work on the aesthetics of his photographs. She likes to give effects of textures, aged photographs, saturated colored contrasts. This contributes to the creation of a fantasized universe, conducive to reverie.
