Training at the Beaux-Arts in Paris and Versailles, to become an architect. After a very diverse career in the field of architecture, I focused on artistic creation and for several years I have been a visual artist collaborator at the “Jardin des Arts" in Toulouse, a workshop created by a painter, Mireille Racine.
My artistic expression is based on a work of all-out recovery, of objects sufficiently suggestive to allow a work of diversion.
My creations are composed of relief paintings, more and more marked and more and more heterogeneous from the point of view of the materials assembled (glass, jewelry, rocks, etc.).
But also sculptures composed of increasingly complex assemblages of objects, fixed, mobile or animated.
The selection of objects is governed by their capacities for suggestion and transformation: ranging from the cheese grater, to the shell, to the capsule dispensers, to the sailor balls...and is accompanied by inclusions of various materials and textures, plant and metal elements.
The themes of the paintings:
Illustration of popular parables
Nods to Art Deco,
The Galaxy.
The themes of the sculptures focus on:
The 5 elements: earth, water, fire, wood and metal.
Mythological references: Egyptian, Native American, nymphs, fairies…
Representations of couples: Scots, wasps, Totems…
Architectural constructions.
