Two printed photos of 60 x 40 cm. Each one on a piece of paper. Total size of the two photos together: 60 x 80 cm.
Printed with piezographic inks on Hahnemühle paper. Edition of 5 numbered copies. Signed, titled, numbered and with the date of printing on the back of the photograph. Certificate of authenticity signed by the artist included.
Series of photos taken with an SLR and a 35mm fixed lens. I made this series of diptychs in the French Basque Country. During this period I was walking a lot and I took advantage of the time to take photographs. I invented an exercise: to compose a diptych by looking for formal or conceptual relationships between the two images. It was a new way of photographing: I had to find a harmonious pair. These photos show the landscapes and the animals with which I cohabit. During this period, I walked every day for 1h30, always taking the same path.
Each photograph is titled with the day it was taken.

Presentation
As a multidisciplinary artist, art is one with myself. There is not a day when I am not creating. I always have my camera on my shoulder, a notebook and drawing material in my bag. I spend the day with my hands in the dough. I don't have a favourite theme or technique. My work evolves according to the questions I ask myself and the experiences I have. I work on intimate themes, in relation to my own experience, but I also create works inspired by current events. My work is also militant. My aim is not to create contemplative works, but to convey messages through visual pieces. Although my work is abundant and changing, it is united by a particular aesthetic: I often play with and combine various antagonistic elements. My work is often described as poetic. It is minimalist and refined.
I work in many disciplines. None is more important to me than another. So I do photography, performance, video, street art, ceramics, drawing, painting, textile art and so on. I like to work outside my studio, creating pieces that also live outside the exhibition space. I want art not to be elitist, but to be understood by the majority of people.
